Visitation and Decoration Privileges

Catholic Cemeteries strives to create a suitable and respectful environment for honoring our beloved deceased, while maintaining the overall beauty, tidiness and safety of our Cemetery grounds and buildings.

We are committed to caring for the final resting place of your loved ones.  We invite you to come and visit, to remember, to laugh, to cry, to smile, to pray and to love.

These are sacred environments where….

LIFE is remembered,

LOVE is deepened,

HOPE is rekindled and

FAITH is awakened, renewed and strengthened.

Therefore, the cemetery reserves the right to correct or remove at any time any decoration or planting that is unsightly, overgrown or violates any decoration policy or disrupts cemetery operations.

All non-floral (and non-flag) decorations will be removed Only flowers (either artificial or natural) and small national flags of 15 inches or less (without metal stakes), are allowed in the vase provided by the cemetery, and cannot obscure the marker or interfere with the space of another.  To ensure the safety of visitors, staff, and equipment, all other items are prohibited, including the following:  balloons, pinwheels, clay, ceramic, glass, metal, stones, wood, and any breakables or valuables.

Niches and Crypts:  Nothing may be taped or glued to the crypt or niche front except those permanent items affixed by cemetery staff.

Graves Flowers on graves cannot be more than 15 inches in height and 15 inches in width and must be placed in the flower vase provided by the cemetery.

Christmas Decorations:  January 12th – All Christmas decorations will be removed and placed at the side of our office until January 26th.  Decorations will be recycled if not picked up within two weeks.

Holiday decorations may be placed 10 days prior to a holiday and may remain for 10 days after the holiday (except Christmas – see above) before removal.
